- Raw Card Lots: This is a rough estimate of the lot's condition based on the Lets Trade Cards condition scale. Any key cards (cards worth significantly more than the rest of the lot) should be highlighted in both the lot description and the images. In the event of a dispute, any seller who fails to disclose that the key card or cards are in worse condition than the lot average will be penalized.
- Raw Comic Lots: The condition of a raw comic lot should be expressed as the lot's estimated condition per the Lets Trade Cards condition scale. Key books (books worth significantly more than the rest of the lot) should be prominently featured in both the lot description and the images. If an issue arises, any seller who does not indicate that the key book or books are in worse condition than the lot average will be struck.
- You, as a seller, must maintain your inventory and prices. If a product sells on Lets Trade Cards that has already sold elsewhere, the seller must provide a verifiable receipt proving the prior sale. Those who fail to remove sold items risk losing their seller status.
-
Your inventory and prices are your responsibility as a seller. To sell a product that has previously been sold elsewhere, the seller must provide a verifiable receipt proving the prior sale. Inactive sellers risk losing their seller status.
- Sellers and buyers on Lets Trade Cards are required to collect and pay all applicable sales and use taxes. Lets Trade Cards never charges sales tax. Sales, purchases, and shipping of goods are subject to all applicable laws and regulations. In addition to shipping costs, sellers may choose to include sales and use taxes in their pricing decisions.
- A buyer's offer is valid for 24 hours or until the seller declines, counters, or cancels. Whichever event occurs first.
- Within 3 Business Days, a seller must ship items AND upload tracking to Lets Trade Cards. Accounts that do not follow this rule will be deactivated. If a seller is going on vacation or has an emergency, they can activate "Vacation Mode" in their profile to temporarily disable all for-sale items. Any sales cancellation or refund should be noted in the tracking box (which is in their transaction history tab). For non-traditional sales, sellers should enter "transferred" in the tracking box once an item has been transferred to a buyer's account.
- Shipping is included in all buy it now prices—no additional shipping charges. If a buyer requests special shipping, the seller and buyer can discuss it.
- To protect yourself as a seller, all items should be insured and tracked. On higher dollar items, common sense is required. For expensive items, USPS Registered Mail (details here) is recommended. It is the seller's responsibility to ensure their items arrive at the buyer's address in good condition. Buyers must provide a safe and secure landing area for sellers to ship to. The seller's responsibility ends when the product is delivered to the address specified in the transaction. If items are not insured, sellers may be held financially liable. If an item is damaged, lost, or stolen prior to delivery, it is the seller's responsibility to file insurance claims and refund the buyer (detailed here). They must provide any information PayPal requests that sellers may not be able to provide on their own.
